If you know me, you know I don’t just train bodies, I develop people. My passion for fitness didn’t start in a gym, it started on the field.
How It All Started
My background is professional football. Playing at that level forces you to build discipline, resilience, and an understanding that your body is your greatest asset. During my career, I learned how to train with intention. Not just to compete, but to stay healthy, balanced, and mentally sharp. When my pro career was wrapped up, I knew I wanted to take everything I learned and pour it back into the community.
My Core Philosophy
My philosophy is simple:
Consistency > motivation
Movement > perfection
Accountability > excuses
Fitness isn’t about being perfect. It’s about showing up, especially on the days you don’t want to. My goal is to teach people how to build a lifestyle they can sustain long term, not a quick fix that fades after a month. When fitness is paired with nutrition, accountability, and a supportive community, you don’t just change your body… you change your life.
How I Train Beginners vs. Athletes
Every person who walks through my doors has a different story, and I meet them where they are.
- For beginners or those returning after a long break:
I focus on building confidence first. We start with foundational movements, simple habits, and small wins. Most people don’t need the “hardest workout” they need guidance, structure, and support. My job is to help them be successful early, so they stay committed. - For athletes or advanced trainees:
It’s all about intentional skills training. Speed, agility, strength cycles, mobility, explosiveness. Programming is tailored to their sport or goals. Athletes don’t just need to work hard; they need to work smart.
Two different approaches. One mission: help people reach their full potential.
How I Hope to Impact the Community
Everything I do is rooted in one mission:
Build stronger people, families, and communities.
I don’t just want people to get fit. I want to create access, education, and opportunities. I want to give youth a safe place to grow. I want parents to feel supported. I want to break generational cycles by teaching mental health, fitness, nutrition, and financial literacy together.
If we can strengthen individuals, we can strengthen the entire community.
Trainer Tip for Today
FEELING OVERWHELMED?
Start small. Start simple. But start.
You don’t need the perfect plan. You don’t need to be in shape first. You don’t need confidence. Confidence is built from taking action.
Focus on these three things:
- Move your body every day. Even 10–15 minutes counts.
- Fuel yourself better than you did yesterday. Small improvements add up.
- Find accountability. A coach, a partner, a community. Nobody succeeds alone.
Feeling overwhelmed disappears when you take the first step.
